The Trane MOT3078 includes a high output 1-horsepower AC motor and was specifically developed for use in Trane HVAC systems as well as for large applications. This motor is 13.2” long and is mounted in a resilient fashion, with ball bearings for 60 Hz operation. While having a voltage scope of 200-460V, the MOT3078 will also fit both single phase and also 3 phase trains of equipment supported by Trane. When running, it provides motor speed of 3450 RPM and has an efficiency of 74%, thus providing efficient power output. An automatic overload protector is incorporated to protect the motor from electrical problems, while its open drip-proof construction protects it against dripping liquids.
