The Trane CPT2328 is a round-shaped replacement capacitor designed for most Trane and American Standard brand HVAC applications [1]. It has a voltage of 330 Volts (VAC) and capacitor energy of 196 microfarads (uF) which charges and supplies electrical power to begin the operation of the HVAC unit’s motors and compressors [1, 2].
