The Conbraco Industries 18C-402X-38 Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve is a safety valve that is used for HVAC systems against high temperatures as well as pressure. This valve has a BTU of 105,000 and has a pressure rating of 150 PSI, and 3/4” FEM NPT for the inlet and 3/4” MNPT for the outlet which makes it compatible with standard plumbing systems. It releases water automatically when the temperature goes to 210°F or pressure goes up beyond the permissible pressure range, eliminating risks like an explosion of tanks attributed to thermal expansion of water, high pressure.
