Lennox 17F17 Collector Box

The Lennox 17F17 is a Collector Box, a replacement part for Lennox HVAC systems, probably heat pumps. This box is 13 inches long, and 6 inches wide, has 1/2 inch diameter connection points, and is used to connect refrigerant lines. During cooling mode, it effectively gathers refrigerant that has picked heat from the home. This is accompanied by routing the collected refrigerant towards the compressor which pumps it to the right pressure for formulating heat in the cooling cycle. With the size of the 17F17 collector box and the number of possible connections to the refrigerant circuit compared to the 17F10 model, the cooling efficiency inside the heat pump system is preserved.
