Trane CNT0674 Auto Limit Switch 170°F To 210° F

The Trane CNT0674 is a typical type of Bi-metallic disc limit safety device. This essentialpart prevents your Trane HVAC equipment from overheating. This has one single pole, and single throw switch and can handle up to 25 amps of current. A unique material, the bimetallic disk in the switch bends in response to temperature changes. The disc bends when the temperature around the limit switch exceeds the intended setpoint range of 170°F to 210°F in this case and triggers a switch mechanism. This, in turn, disconnects electrical power to the furnace or air handling equipment SPST.
