Trane SWT3254 is a single pole, single-throw pressure switch meant for use in HVAC applications. By monitoring air pressure with an alarm and shutting down an electrical circuit when reaching some given pressure level it becomes a safety element. This switch aids the system in maintaining a constant supply of fresh air pressure as required both for the effective operation of the system and also to provide comfort to the users of the system. For instance, high air pressure will turn off a compressor and low air pressure will turn on a fan. That makes it an incredibly resilient HVAC system capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -40 to 190.4 degrees Fahrenheit and up to 4” water pressure.
