The Amana-Goodman B1370920 Auto Limit Switch 7 inch is a temperature control with a thermal rating of 150°F-180°F to prevent extremes in HVAC systems. Its main purpose is to check the internal heat conditions and cut the electric circuit in the event of the temperature surpassing the set limit. The working mechanism reacts to the increase in temperature by closing contacts and automatically restarts when the temperature goes back to a reasonable level. The probe is mounted in the airflow or heat path where it is to be installed and the terminals are wired to the control circuit.
