Lennox 13R80 Low Pressure Switch

The Lennox 13R80 is a Low-Pressure Switch, which is a safety device in the HVAC equipment, which is used in Air conditioning units and Heat pumps. This switch is supposed to monitor the refrigerant pressure in the system and prevent its level from falling to essential values. If the pressure of the refrigerant falls below a certain level It interrupts the electrical circuit hence the compressor can no longer run. This sets pressures that are low and makes the system unsafe for the compressor and also safeguards the system these pressures are low, avoiding any harm in instances where refrigerant pressure is reduced.
