Lennox 73W83 Reversing Valve 1/2X3/4

The Lennox 73W83 is a reversing valve, an accessory to Lennox heat pump equipment. This valve has an effect on the flow of refrigerant in the system, and therefore the heat pump can operate in the heating or cooling mode. In heating mode, the valve reverses the refrigerant flow takes heat from the outside air, and puts it inside the vehicle. During cooling, the modes are reversed so that the heat pump can draw cool air from indoors and release it outdoors.
