The Lennox 52W76 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, that is one of theessential components of the HVAC systems that control the refrigerant. It works like an automatic faucet about pressure and temperature changes inside the evaporator coil. The TXV accurately measures the amount of refrigerant and enhances the cooling efficiency while avoiding evaporator flooding.
