The Rheem-Ruud 61-102211-20 Thermal expansion valve which enhances the efficiency of HVAC systems and is long lasting. This valve measures 1/2” x 1/2” and is ideal for controlling 4-ton cooling capacities and is meant for use with R-410A refrigerant only. It has a 30” capillary tube that is essentialin the determination of the refrigerant pressure and temperature hence controlling the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil. It works by controlling the amount of the coolant that is allowed to flow into the evaporator coil depending on cooling requirement. This precise management prevents such common issues as coil freezing or overheating, that in their turn deteriorate the performance as well as efficiency of the system.
