The Carrier HT31AZ121 is a 200W crankcase heater, which is manufactured for Carrier HVAC systems. This tall and slim heater operates on 120V and has 3/8" diameter to provide heat across a large area. Its function is to keep the desired oil temperature in the crankcase, particularly during a cold start. It transforms electrical energy to heat to ensure that the crankcase oil does not thicken when it is cold.
