The Johnson Controls P128AA-17 Lube Oil Cutout is a safety accessory meant for HVAC systems to guarantee the best performance and protect the equipment from harm in case of low oil levels. It works by detecting the lubricating oil pressure in HVAC compressors. If the pressure drops below the safe level, then the switch blows the circuit off to prevent the compressor from operation and subsequent damage. This is a manual reset cutout with a time delay of 120 seconds to enable pressure build-up before the circuit resets. This has a strong construction and works in various environmental temperatures ranging from 40°F to 212°F.
