Johnson Controls VB-3766-1 1/2" Normally Open Brass Pneumatic Flare Valve 1.0Cv Flared Connections

The Johnson Controls VB-3766-1 is a compact, brass pneumatic flare valve designed for small HVAC terminal units for controlling hot or cold water. This 1/2” valve has an N.O. configuration which means that the valve is open when it is not being actuated. So when pressure is applied to it the valve closes to allow the water to flow at the desired volume. Flared connections provide a safe and tight connection for the structure. Cv of 1.0 of this valve shows its ability to allow the flow of a given volume of water or any flow rate at a given time. Constructed from brass it is suitable for use in temperatures between -10°F and 150°F and pressures up to 400 PSI. This valve can also be used to regulate the temperature zones of a building as it regulates the volume of water supplied to the systems.
