Johnson Controls VG7241GS 2-Way Globe Valve Body 1/2" Normally Open. 4.6Cv

The Johnson Controls VG7241GS is a 2-way normally open globe style valve body that finds its application in hydronic and HVAC system. It regulates the flow of liquids by opening and closing depending on a signal from a thermostat or pressure control. The ‘normally open’ bit of it means the valve is in an open position and only closes when commanded to do so. This valve is developed using brass for strength and durability and for pipe size of 1/2”. This is demonstrated by the Cv rating of 4.6 as the measurement of the flow capacity of the Cv. The other merit of the globe valve is that it is capable of regulating the flow of the liquid within accuracy. This makes the ideal for applications where a delicate control of the flow is needed, for instance the zone control valves in heating and cooling systems.
