Johnson Controls VG7241GT 2-Way Globe Valve Body 1/2" N.O. 4.6Cv

The Johnson Controls VG7241GT is essentially a 2-way globe valve body that is used in the HVAC application. It is an N.O. valve, that is, when not powered, the fluid will flow through it. This valve body is constructed from brass and has a threaded 1/2” NPT connection for simple fitting. It has a Cv rating of 4.6 and is therefore ideal for use in applications that involve moderate flow control. In an HVAC system, hot or cold water gets to the heating and cooling coils. Depending on a thermostat or control system, the valve either opens or closes to regulate temperature within a building.
