Honeywell C7023J2007 12' Averaging Duct Temperature Sensor 10K Ohm NTC Type III

The Honeywell C7023J2007 Averaging duct temperature sensor is a high quality temperature sensor that is ideal for use in HVAC systems. This 12-foot long sensor consists of several NTC thermistors mounted along the length of the cable in equal intervals. NTC thermistors are those thermistors whose resistance reduces as the temperature increases. Through the measurement of the resistance of these thermistors, the sensor is in a position to calculate the average temperature of the air circulating within the duct. This averaging capability gives a better average temperature reading than a single point temperature reading which may be affected by localized temperature.
