The Johnson Controls WZ-1000-4 Bulb Well is a sheath made of 304 stainless steel for protecting a temperature sensor bulb from direct airflow in HVAC systems. It is 1/2” in ID and outer diameter respectively to accommodate standard temperature sensor bulbs. This protection offers two key it protects the sensor bulb from being damaged by debris or a high-velocity air stream. Second, it avoids any interference from the air stream that may affect the temperature of the sensor bulb. It is especially designed for high temperature applications because it has a high temperature range of 600°F to 400°F. It is normally used with other products like air handling units, ducts, and other equipment that require temperature regulation.
