The Johnson Controls VG7243CT is a globe valve type with 2-way operation, with a normally open position It is applied for controlling flow of fluids in HVAC systems. This valve is constructed from cast bronze for long lasting use and has stainless steel parts for increased resistance to corrosion; it has a 1/2” NPT port for easy installation. It is designed to be small and thus is perfect for areas that are small. It is operated with a push down to close mechanism. When energized, an actuator compresses the valve stem towards the flow path thus closing it. On the other hand, when the energization is removed the stem, which is common it will return to its initial position and cause the value to open thereby allowing the flow.
