The Johnson Controls TE-6312P-1 Temperature Sensor is a highly recommended and long-lasting product for monitoring temperatures in hydronic HVAC systems. This sensor contains a nickel-iron Balco sensing element with a resistance of 1000 ohms at 70°F. It is equipped with an 8” probe length which makes it suitable to be immersed in liquids for use in temperature ranges of -50°F – 220°F. The sensor’s poly housing is NEMA 1 rated, which means it is resistant to dust and dirt in ordinary indoor applications.
