The Johnson Controls A19AAB-40 Remote Bulb Temperature Control is a thermostat that is used to regulate temperature in the commercial and industrial heating ventilation and air conditioning unit. This is an offshore bulb that doesn’t have to be fitted to the wall like most other thermostats, but there is a separate probe that can be fitted into the heating or cooling equipment to give a more accurate response to changes in temperature. It functions with a fixed span of 100°F to 240°F and an adjustable differential. When the temperature of the surrounding environment increases beyond the set point by a certain degree, the control switches off the circuit and hence cuts off power to the heating system. Due to this “open on rise” feature, it is suitable for regulating heating devices such as boilers or furnaces.
