The Daikin-McQuay 031780500 TXV Power Head is an essential part of refrigeration and air conditioning systems to meter the refrigerant into the evaporator accurately. This has a 5 feet capillary tube that links the power head to the sensing bulb. The power head contains the circuits used to control the refrigerant circulation depending on the temperature detected by the bulb. The sensing bulb which is normally placed at the evaporator outlet is used to measure the temperature of the refrigerant. This temperature signal is then carried through the capillary tube to the power head.
