The Amana-Goodman 0151R00197 3-ton Flowrater Thermal Expansion Valve compatible with R410A refrigerant and controls the circulation of refrigerant into the evaporator. The TXV monitors the temperature and pressure at the evaporator and then regulates the refrigerant through the TXV to support maximum cooling/ heating function. It allows regulation of operations, minimizes stress to the compressor and increases system durability. The Flowrater TXV is designed for light commercial air conditioning, residential and HVAC system such as split systems, packaged units and heat pumps.
