The Watts 0065373 1” Reduced Pressure Zone backflow preventer assembly is intended to prevent backflow contamination of potable water supplies. Designed from lead-free copper silicon alloy for strength and rust-free, it also comes with a silicone disc for a tight seal. This RPZ works by establishing two check valves within the assembly of the system. If back-pressure occurs, both check valves close, contaminated water cannot get into the potable water supply.
