The Xylem-Goulds Pumps 10K170 Seal Kit is a replacement fitting kit to ensure that the fluid does not leak out of the pump units that are compatible with the HVAC systems. Its main role is to avoid leakage along the pump shaft through the development of a controlled seal interface between the rotating and stationary parts. The sealing mechanism ensures stable operation at normal pressure and temperature conditions and is mounted during inspection of pumps, where it is fitted in the seal chamber without altering the other components around the closure cavity.
