The Resideo VR8204A2126/B 1/2” Intermittent Pilot Light Gas Valve is designed for safe and efficient gas flow control for intermittent pilot ignition systems. It controls the flow of the gas to the burner only when the ignition is confirmed. It opens when a pilot flame is established and then modulates gas to the main burner using a 24V command. It is used in furnaces, boilers and water heaters and has 1/2 ”NPT connections, 150,000 BTU/hr input and 1/2 PSI working pressure. This is due to its small size, easy-to-connect terminals and wide operating temperature range that increases installation efficiency and stability. The advantages are increased system efficiency, accurate ignition control, and safety in the HVAC systems.
