Trane VAL4359 Solenoid Valve, 24Vdc

The Trane VAL4359 is a 24Vdc solenoid valve used in HVAC systems solenoid valves are electrically controlled valves which are operated by a coil known as solenoid to open or close the path of the fluids such as refrigerants or water. In this specific valve the solenoid coil produces an area of magnetism around the valve when it emits an electrical current which opens the plunger so that the fluid passes through. In the event of power failure, the magnetic field disappears, and the plunger moves back and shuts to stop the flow of the fluid. Solenoid valves provide shut off and control of flow of fluids and therefore are suitable for controlling temperature in HVAC systems.
