Trane VAL4153 1/2" Natural Gas Valve

The Trane VAL4153 is a 1/2" natural gas valve that was manufactured for use in gas-fired HVAC equipment such as furnaces and boilers. The natural gas flow to the burner assembly is controlled to control the heat input that drives the output of the boiler or furnace. The thermostat transmits a signal to the valve to electrically open and close to maintain the right temperature setting. The Trane opens when the thermostat senses a drop in the ambient temperature. So this means that the burner will get more natural gas, more heat, and heat the temperature inside.
