Trane VAL2417 ODF Without Coil Solenoid Valve 1-1/8"

The Trane VAL2417 is a usually closed solenoid valve and is mainly used for coil air conditioning systems that connect a 1-1/8” ODF copper pipe. The VAL2417, however, cannot be purchased with a coil like some other solenoid valves and the coil must be bought separately. It offers an electromagnetic field once energized to open the valve in a bid to allow fluid flow. It closes when power supply is shut off, thus its function is called a de-energized state. Solenoid valves are electronic control devices that can be located in furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps among other HVAC equipment.
