Trane VAL19951 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) With Strainer 3/8" X 1/2" 6-Ton R410 A

The Trane VAL19951 is a 6-ton thermal expansion valve to be used in HVAC systems using the R410A refrigerant. A TXV is an essential part of air conditioning systems that regulate refrigerant flow. This serves as an automated pressure regulator and keeps the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil correctly. It is sensed by the valve to operate, the valve using the temperature of refrigerant exiting the evaporator. When the temperature goes too low, the TXV opens and lets more refrigerant in to make sure the coil absorbs heat. However, the valve restricts the flow of the refrigerant if the temperature is too high so that the evaporator can’t freeze.
