The Trane VAL19939 is an essentialpart of the R410A refrigerant based HVAC systems that are considered to be standard in today’s homes. This Thermal Expansion Valve measuring 4” long is necessary for enhancing the system efficiency and preventing damage to your compressor. The valve is adapted for temperature sensing from the coil through the thermostatic actuator. If the coil is underfilled then there will be less cooling and if the coil is over filled then the compressor may get damaged. It has a 2.8% bleed design to control the flow of refrigerant and solid fixation through the male as well as brazed female connectors.
