Trane VAL19485 1-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) 3/8" X 1/2" ODF

The Trane VAL19485 is a thermal expansion valve (TXV) designed for use in HVAC systems of 1-ton capacity. This valve contains refrigerant system flow. The quantity of refrigerant put into the evaporator coil as with the TXV control is maximized to get maximum cooling efficiency. It works by being triggered by the internal pressure and temperature of the evaporator. The TXV opens more when the cooling demand increases, and the suction pressure drops. The TXV closes slowly to keep the target pressure and temperature range when the load decreases. This Trane TXV is used in heat pumps and split system air conditioning equipment for homes and light commercial buildings utilizing R-410A refrigerant.
