The Trane VAL12834 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialpart of your large Trane air conditioning systems While simple on/off valves turn fully on and off, the TXV is an essentialpart of efficient and reliable cooling, particularly in industrial use. A thermal sensor bulb well attached by a capillary tube in the TXV allows the refrigerant flow into the evaporator to be regulated according to the temperature of the evaporator. Made of strong stainless steel, it has a pressure capacity of up to 660 PSI appropriate for business’ use. Mainly, the Trane TXV is installed in air conditioning systems that are 5-ton systems in large commercial structures or industries.
