Trane VAL11152 Electronic Expansion Valve

The Trane VAL11152 is an electronic expansion valve for their HVAC systems, for Trane refrigerant lines. The valve itself is sturdy, and only about 12" long, with a working pressure of up to 650 PSI. It electrically adjusts the aperture of the evaporator coil to enable it to manage the flow of refrigerant to meet the cooling or heating load of interest. This rigid regulation ensures constant temperature as it increases system efficiency. Unlike conventional valves, which rely on pressure, the Trane VAL11152 uses pulse width modulation technology and a stepper motor make extremely precise changes.
