Trane VAL11152 Electronic Expansion Valve

The Trane VAL11152 is an electronic expansion valve (EEV) for Trane HVAC systems, specifically refrigerant lines. Based on the intended cooling or heating load, it electrically adjusts the evaporator coil's aperture to precisely manage the amount of refrigerant entering the coil. This accurate regulation keeps the temperature constant while maximizing system efficiency. The Trane VAL11152 employs pulse width modulation (PWM) technology in conjunction with a stepper motor to provide extremely precise changes, in contrast to conventional valves that only use pressure. Better comfort control, less energy use, and maybe cheaper operational expenses result from this. The valve itself has a working pressure of up to 650 PSI and is sturdy, while only being about 12" long.
