The Carrier EA660005 Thermal Expansion Valve Kit With Insulation is a replacement that is intended to be used in air condition systems. It comprises a TXV, an essentialaccessory in refrigeration and air conditioning. This TXV controls the amount of refrigerant that is allowed into the evaporator coil by a bi-metal spring. This spring adjusts itself to accommodate temperature fluctuations to provide the better cooling and efficiency during this spring. It also has insulation to ensure that it is properly installed and also to ensure that it will perform as required.
