Danfoss 068U0016 Thermal expansion valve (TXV) filter is an accessory that is used to improve the function of the Danfoss TCA and TUA series thermal expansion valve. The TXV Filter is designed for use with TCA and TUA series of thermal expansion valve. The function of this filter is to prevent debris and contaminants to enter the TXV and cause clogging and damaging of the valve parts. Mounted on the valve body of the thermal expansion valve, the filter removes particulates and contaminants from the refrigerant before they can get into the valve. This measure is carried out with a view of preventing any disruption of the TXV operation and at the same time, increasing the lifetime of the valve and other related components.
