The Resideo TX-5 2 Gallon Thermal Expansion Tank is an essential accessory for controlling thermal expansion of water hydronic heating systems. This tank is useful in regulating system pressure, and in taking the increasing volume of water as it is heated, to prevent harm to pipes, valves and other relevant system components. The TX-5 uses a 3/4” NPT male connection which makes installation easy and the device can easily be incorporated into existing HVAC systems. They can work effectively where pressure does not exceed 150 PSI and temperature not exceeding 200°F, which suitable for numerous heating uses.
