Trane THT2761 SPST Thermostat is an HVAC switch and comes in the form of a single-pole single-throw switch. Depending on the prevailing heat or cold it serves as a heater or cooler by regulating the heat sources. This is another convenient variant containing no additional buttons and featuring a Large Backlit LCD Display for the clearest results and 72 72-inch long Lead Cables for more convenience in usage. A thermostat turns an electric circuit ‘on’ or ‘off’ according to a given temperature. It also contains a circuit that shuts the heating system off when the presence of heat through the rising temperature is sensed; in this case, the temperature reaches 230 °F.
