The Trane ZSENS930AW00MA Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor is used to monitor the ambient temperature of the room and relay the temperature to the system control circuit. A sensing element that is sensitive to temperature senses the variation in the air around and translates it into an electrical signal that the control board interprets to control heating or cooling operations used in HVAC systems. The sensor is connected to the control wiring by terminal leads which conduct the temperature signal to the equipment controller.
