The Trane SWT03334 Thermal Sensor Flow Switch is used to monitor the flow of fluid and temperature variations in hydronic elements, to assist in verifying that a sufficient flow is present before pumps, or burners are turned on in HVAC systems. It operates on a thermal flow sensing element, which reacts to the variation in the liquid movement within a 15 cm probe and sends an electrical signal to a 24 V AC/DC control circuit. It is installed in piping to monitor flow and communicate with system controls.
