The Trane GRL01664 Outdoor Fan Grille is an airflow component used to cover and protect the condenser fan assembly in the outdoor cooling equipment in HVAC systems. It is a stiffened metal guard that fits a 35" mounting diameter to fit the hole in the condenser fan so that air can pass through it, but no debris or external objects can fall on the rotating fan blades when operating in HVAC systems. It is located on the upper element of the outdoor condenser unit, in which it is attached directly to the cabinet structure enveloping the fan assembly.
