Trane ANO00040 Magnesium Anode 1.5" DIA 11.5" NPTE

The Trane ANO00040 Anode Magnesium is used in water heating elements to prevent corrosion in tanks in HVAC systems. It is applied in a tank, and it pulls 1.5" DIA in corrosive components in the water, preventing damage to the inside surfaces of the tank. It operates in a passive mode with the metal components of the 11.5 1/2" NPTE system to increase the stability of operation and maintenance requirements. It reduces corrosion, which preserves the constant efficiency and extends the water heating system.
