Trane SEN1809 Temperature Sensor For 3/4" Tube

The Trane SEN1809 is a Temperature Sensor that uses the thermistor that is used for sensing the temperature of the HVAC systems. Constructed from copper and 301 stainless steel for endurance, this small sensor is 3 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 2 inches high. It fits tightly on refrigerant lines of up to ¾” diameter. Thermistors, on the other hand, are not like the usual sensors that employ mechanical switches for their resistance to changes in temperature. The temperature is -40°C up to 85°C and operating with 50/60 hertz systems, the specific information is vital for keeping the systems in the better condition and for avoiding overheating or undercooling of the equipment and thus possible damage.
