The TE Connectivity ATUM-19/6-0 Heat Shrink Tubing is an insulating sleeve used to cover and protect electrical connections and conductors. When heated, its substance contracts around the underlying connection, aligned to the covered profile and forming a close-fitting protective layer. The tubing is positioned over the applicable wire, terminal, or joint before controlled heating. After shrinking, the formed sleeve provides electrical insulation and structural coverage around the enclosed connection in HVAC systems and associated wiring assemblies.
