The Resideo TAXV-020 Vertical Thermal Expansion Tank is designed to control the changes in the volume of the hydronic heating systems to maintain pressure and performance. This tank is able to accommodate additional water volume due to changes in temperature and therefore reduces pressure fluctuations and protects pipes and other parts of the system from potential harm. The TAXV-020 can work in temperatures up to 240°F and has the maximum acceptance of 10. 9 gallons. It is made of high quality steel and is built in compliance with ASME building codes. Its 1/2” NPT male connection makes it easy to install it in the existing HVAC systems that are in the market.
