The Resideo TAXV-015 Vertical Thermal Expansion Tank is a component for use in regulating thermal expansion in hydronic heating system. This tank is designed to accommodate the excess water which is as a result of change in temperature this ensures that the pressure of the system is maintained and the pipes and other parts of the system are protected from damage. The TAXV-015 can work at temperatures up to 240°F and has the maximum acceptance of 7. 8 gallons. It is constructed with steel material and is approved by ASME. It has a 1/2" NPT male connector that allows for easy connection to current HVAC systems the butyl/EPDM diaphragm enhances the performance and durability of the tank.
