Carrier 8045HUM Steam Canister & O-Ring

The Carrier 8045HUM Steam Canister & O-Ring is a replacement part to use in Carrier HVAC systems with steam humidifiers. The canister works by creating steam to include moisture in the air and therefore make indoor conditions more comfortable especially in dry areas. An accompanying O ring assures a tight seal inside the humidifier, keeping it leak free and allowing for efficient steam distribution. The replacement component is 12.5" tall, 5.5" wide, 5.5" diameter, and has a cubic volume of 0.21 cubic feet. The Carrier helps keep humidity in your home at optimal levels by replacing a worn out canister and making sure it seals properly.
