Trane CNT0921 SPDT Limit Switch 160°F

The Trane CNT0921 SPDT Limit Switch 160° is an electrical switch of relatively low used in different HVAC equipment. This SPDT switch is essential as it terminates the system operation once the set thermostat limit has been achieved. For this, that limit is 160°F. the switch consists of internal metal contacts that connect or break when subjected to the temperature of the surrounding environment. It activates the relay which opens the electrical circuit and in the HVAC system, the relay is pre-set and ready to give out a certain reaction once the temperature goes higher than the specified limit. Such a response may include; switching off the heating element or sounding an alarm.
