Schneider Electric Barber Colman THCR-4 Spdt Enthalpy Control is a smart device that manages heating and cooling systems in buildings to maintain desired comfort levels while increasing energy economy. The THCR-4 thermostat takes into account both temperature and humidity, a combined factor known as enthalpy, in contrast to conventional thermostats that just take temperature into account. Because high humidity can make an area feel hotter than it actually is and the opposite of that, this enables more exact management. Temperature and humidity are continuously measured by the THCR-4, which then compares the readings to a user-specified setpoint. In order to lower humidity and produce a cozier atmosphere, the control initiates the cooling system when the enthalpy is above the setpoint.
