When fan operation generates sufficient static pressure difference across the diaphragm, the internal electrical contacts close to complete the safety circuit. Verifying draft velocity or supply airflow permits continued burner or fan operation, coordinates equipment staging, and supports safe ventilation sequence control across active operating cycles.
